Knowledge is power?

We have all heard the phrase, “knowledge is power.” But is it really? I believe knowledge is potential power. You can read and read and read. You can be a lifelong student in school or out. But if you are not putting action to the things you read and observe, how powerful are you really? I default to a couple men that lived before me that are much smarter than I, here is what they have to say:

First up, Confucius said, “The essence of knowledge is, having it, to use it.”

and

Thomas Edison said, “Knowledge without application is useless.”

We need to apply the things we hear, see, read, and experience, otherwise the knowledge we are obtaining is useless and essentially we are wasting the talent that has been given to us.

What is one thing you can apply this week?
